Our coaching academy is a vehicle for developing a coaching culture throughout the Trust to help develop, engage, motivate and care for our staff to deliver better patient care. It will support us to consistently have a “culture of caring” which both our staff and patients will experience.

Due to significant investment, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic Infection Prevention Service team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
The Infection Prevention Service is seeking to appoint an administration & surveillance assistant; this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to support and join a dynamic team.
The successful candidate will need to have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work on their own initiative. As the first point of contact, it is essential that you have a professional, welcoming and helpful manner at all times.
The role at times will also involve completing audits within clinical areas so you will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, patients and visitors.
It is essential that you already have administration skills such as typing and effective communication, but training will be given in relation to specific skills and knowledge to assist in completing the audits. Familiarity of medical terminology would be a particular benefit, but not essential.
As the service covers off site facilities, community sites as well as the Stepping Hill site, an ability to get to offsite facilities is an essential part of the role.
The post holder will be expected to work 5 days a week, 6 hours per day. Flexibility around working days would be required to meet the demands of the service.
You will be required to work to high standards maintaining a high quality finish to aspects of your work. If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
