About The Role
Community Integrated Care is an award-winning charitable organisation who is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate social care specialist for an advanced Support Worker position based in Heald Green near Stockport .
Daring to be the best you can be, you will take responsibility for assessing the effectiveness of support provided. Also, to contribute to the multi- agency care and support planning to embed successful implementation and to achieve positive and meaningful outcomes for the people supported
This role will be in a Positive behavioural Support (PBS) service for adults with learning disabilities, autism and other additional needs such as a hearing impairment.
About You
With experience of supporting people with complex needs in a social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will bring creative ideas and compassion to encourage the people you will be supporting to live as independently as possible. To see the possibilities and opportunities to make a positive difference to improve the quality of life of the people supported
We will provide you with specialist and person-centred training to become a subject matter expert. With this comprehensive training package this will enable you to provide personalised care and active support to those with complex needs to enable them to live a fulfilled and enriched life
In addition, you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role – training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Scotland) or Level 3 Diploma in Care (England). Within the comprehensive training package, we will offer you the opportunity to gain a Level 1 qualification in British Sign Language.
