We are currently recruiting for an intelligent and commercially astute business development professionals to join a market leading technology organisation. This role is best suited to business graduates or equivalent with ideally 2+ years relevant experience, capable of identifying industry trends, engaging with high level contacts and establishing effective relationships.
This role will offer flexible working – home and office based – results are more important than presenteeism. They are a forward thinking business who are looking to give people the support they need to succeed but recognise that you don’t get your best results if you are chained to your desk!
The focus of this role is to onboard new reseller partners with around 3/4 of your activities being new business focused. However, you have telemarketing support, you have a steady stream of leads coming via events, marketing, etc – this isn’t a cold calling role. You will use your intellect and develop market knowledge to identify and nurture leads, pursuing targeted communications with mapped decision makers, drawing on sector trends and generating opportunities. Your role will encompass sales, marketing, networking, account management and strategy planning to increase bottom line and generate sales revenue.
Key duties will include:
- B2B sales; researching, prospecting and outbound calling
- Delivering online webinars and product demonstrations to new and existing customers
- Researching competitors, mapping target customers, tracking industry trends
- Creating and delivering targeted communications and dialogue with industry leaders
- Establishing a reputation as a credible expert and influencer
- Demonstrating initiative, ambition and willingness in achieving personal targets and contributing to the success of the business
No previous IT Sales or Channel Sales experience is required for this role – they will teach you the nature of their product set (cloud infrastructure, AWS, Azure, etc). We are looking for determined, proactive and resilient self-starters, keen to play an integral role in the company’s growth and development. Within 12-18 months, you should be working towards a sales management, field sales or senior role based on outstanding performance and potential to take on more. In return the company are offering a salary of £26,000 plus a realistic first year OTE of £35,000.
