We require a detail focused individual to work as part of a small team based in Stockport which arranges and actively manages the delivery of property related compliance. This team has the important responsibility of managing property related compliance in relation to gas, electric, legionella, asbestos, PAT, EPCs and other maintenance contracts. You will need to organise inspections and tests, collect and organise data, maintain up to date records, provide reports for senior colleagues and contribute to reports for the Board of Trustees.
In order to fulfil this challenging and varied role you will need to be proactive, well organised and able to work quickly to achieve deadlines. You will be numerate and IT literate with expertise in using spreadsheets and database. The ability to accurately input, organise and interrogate data is essential. You be able to work with a high level of detail in order to understand and address problems, whilst maintaining a focus on business priorities. You must be assertive and personable in working with contractors. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
It is desirable but not essential that applicants have relevant experience of the housing or property sector. It is essential that applicants demonstrate prior experience of carrying out complex and responsible administrative work. Applicant should hold a degree or other relevant qualifications or training. An interest in our activities is essential.
You will be expected to attend training and keep yourself informed in property related compliance for registered housing providers. We will also expect you to contribute to our out- of-hours duty rota.
