An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Customer Engagement Officer to join us here at Stockport Homes on a 12 Months Maternity Cover.
Using innovative, effective and inclusive methods of engagement, the Customer Engagement Officer will ensure Stockport Homes’ customers are at the heart of service design and delivery.
You will have a sound understanding of the principles of excellence in customer engagement, with experience of working in collaboration with colleagues, customers, partners and stakeholders to create meaningful engagement that maximises outcomes for customers
Developing ways in which customers can influence, monitor and scrutinise services, one aspect of the role will be a specific focus on engagement with multi-storey block residents to deliver the expectations of the Hackitt review around resident engagement in monitoring and improving fire and Building Safety.
Capable of managing conflicting priorities and with experience of using Microsoft IT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook, you’ll be equipped to deal sensitively and positively with contentious issues. Developing and leading dynamic partnerships and networks, you will be able to engage and build rapport with customers through a variety of means, particularly groups and individuals who may not currently engage with services or receive support.
