Employee Services Administrator – Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen within the Trust’s Employee Services Department for a Workforce Admin Assistant. You will be part of a busy but friendly team striving to provide the highest quality service to its customers. You will be supporting the Workforce Analysts, have your own workload and support the workload of the Workforce Apprentice.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all relevant administrative systems are maintained in a timely and accurate manner, providing helpdesk support and training and ensuring that all relevant processes are carried out in line with Trust policies.
You will use both the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and e-mail systems to provide timely and accurate provision of workforce information in line with agreed organisation requirements.
You should be highly computer literate and have good organisation skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and work under pressure.
It is essential that you demonstrate the following:
- Experience (preferably in an information / statistical related area)
- Knowledge of NHS payroll and ESR or Oracle based systems.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
You must have the ability to interpret user requirements and be able to work on your own initiative to manage workload with competing priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as it the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
An understanding and knowledge of ESR, as an essential requirement.
