We are looking for an Estates and Facilities Assistant to join our growing Estates team. The job is physically demanding and will involve working a 37 hour week, on shifts usually of either 6.30am – 3.00pm or 10.30am – 7.00pm Monday to Friday, at Cheadle Hulme High School. Some occasional overtime will be necessary to cover for evening and weekend events for which additional payment will be made at the appropriate overtime rates. The successful candidate must have their own transport and be prepared to train as a first aider and will be offered all relevant training for the position.
The ideal candidate will need the following knowledge and experience:
• Basic cleaning skills
• D.I.Y Skills to carry out daily maintenance tasks and basic refurbishment work.
• Ability to understand basic Health & Safety regulations
• Computer literate – must be able to use Word and Excel packages

The Trust has opened four brand new free schools – Cheadle Hulme Primary School (CHPS), Laurus Cheadle Hulme (LCH), Laurus Ryecroft (LR) and the most recent in September 2019, Didsbury High School (DHS). The Laurus Alternative Provision School is in the pre-opening phase and Hazel Grove High School (HGHS) joined the Trust in September 2019.
