Our client, an award-winning tech company, is looking for someone to join their Helpdesk ASAP. As it is a role which will support their external customer base, communication skills are just as important as technical. The last person we placed in this level of role was fast tracked into their IT Services Team, so prospects are genuinely excellent.
The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate: –
- A degree in a technically focused subject – IT, Maths, Science, etc or equivalent
- A broad grounding in IT – this will be a role where you will be supporting a bespoke product across multiple platforms so broad IT skills are key
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Great communication skills
- Strong administrative / organisational skills
Some background in a helpdesk position or a technically focused customer service role would be a real advantage but isn’t necessary for the right candidate. Send your CV in the first instance for more information.
