Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist
About the Together Trust
We are one of the North West’s leading disability charities, offering individual care, support and education to thousands of people each year.
Our work is made possible with our incredible team of staff and volunteers who are positive role models to the people we support.
You will be joining an organisation driven by its values and desire to see meaningful change – the people we support really are at the heart of everything we do.
We want you to grow and develop – so we will support you to shape the career that you want to have.
A job with us can be challenging. But what we can promise is that your role will be incredibly rewarding and filled with meaning.
A job at the Together Trust is more than just a job – together we’ll change lives.
Are you a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist looking to develop your skills as part of a multidisciplinary team?
We are looking for an experienced clinician to lead our Occupational Therapy Team of up to six staff and manage a small caseload of students with complex presentations at Inscape House School. We are one of the Together Trust’s non-maintained specialist schools for over 100 students aged 5 to 19 all with autism as their primary need.
Our well-resourced and supportive team work closely together to deliver a high quality therapy service. You will offer clinical supervision and management of professional colleagues contributing to their development.
At the forefront of this role will be your knowledge of autism along with an understanding of the fundamentals and governance of a school.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, teaching staff, school counsellors, positive behaviour support colleagues, psychologists and other support team members.
We have a culture of joint responsibility to embed therapy approaches, strategies and interventions. This is a great opportunity to help shape service delivery and contribute to school wide projects.
This is a truly rewarding role as you will get to track student progress and their journey to independence in a way you might not necessarily experience within an NHS setting.
We would consider both full-time and part-time applicants for this post – This is a term time post (43 Weeks) – Salary is pro rated to reflect this
Benefits
You will get to help the people we support celebrate along the road to a brighter future and be part of an incredible team of like-minded peers. Together we work hard, enjoy our jobs, and support each other. We also have a range of rewards and benefits for our staff:
