Integrated Logistics Support IPS / ILS Supportability Engineer, Glasgow, West Scotland (Hybrid) to £45,000 to £55,000 pa plus bonus and package.
•We are currently recruiting for our Integrated Logistics Support/ IPS client team in Glasgow, the successful candidate will apply technical leadership, plan, co-ordinate and control an Integrated Logistics Support, including Reliability and Maintainability aspects of a work package within agreed costs and timescales.

•The position will be based at the client’s Glasgow site. While a proportion of the role may be carried out from home, some attendance on site will be necessary.
•About the Role: •
•Analyse ILS and R&M User Requirements documents and generate System Requirements in accordance with company procedures using (if appropriate) requirements capture software tools such as Doors.
•Plan and deliver Logistic Engineering and R&M engineering design activities, within timescales and budgets.
•Provide support to senior ILS engineer to generate all ILS and R&M bid proposals in support of equipment sales.
•Support a team of engineers in designing and developing support systems to meet customer requirements.
• Design and develop support systems including preparation of all associated documentation within agreed timescales.
•To maintain a broad knowledge of new developments in Logistics and R&M engineering technology, methodologies and tools, potentially applicable to clients’ products.
•To represent the company at meetings and presentations to customers, suppliers and subcontractors and to provide expertise and advice contributing to the solution of technical and commercial problems.
•Prepare whole life costs and estimations of programme costs for the client’s products and bids when required.
•Participate in and contribute to company continuous improvement projects when required. •
•To keep abreast with developments in electronic technologies, standards and regulations.
•About You:
•Prior engineering and customer facing experience.
•Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle including design and drawings.
•Good communication and negotiating to create and maintain internal and external relationships. Self-motivated.
•Proactive in finding solutions to problems.
•Ideally be qualified to Degree standard in an engineering or science related subject.
