Creative Support is a busy and dynamic national charity with a track record in providing high quality, person centred support services in over 60 Local Authorities.
We are seeking a talented and highly committed person to take on a newly created role within our busy Tendering Team. The Individual Bid Coordinator will scope out, write and lead submission of bids & proposals for new individual packages and referrals. The role will involve working with our existing services to monitor capacity, identify necessary frameworks, develop and write bids for small/individual packages. There will also be a requirement to work as part of our wider Tendering Team to write/edit bids and mentor junior members of the team, and you will also be required to contribute to the development and improvement of new services.
The Coordinator will have a passion for working within the health & social care sector, and be diligent in creating compassionate and effective individual bid responses. You must have excellent writing & editing ability, strong analytical skills and engaging communication style. You will need to be organised, hard working and flexible as this is a fast paced and challenging role, working to multiple deadlines. IT proficiency and good research skills are also essential.
You will be able to write creative, aspirational and meaningful submissions which reinforce our person centred and innovative approach to supporting vulnerable adults. You will need a genuine interest in and awareness of the wider social care sector, where a good understanding of health & social care policy/strategy is desirable. Continuous professional development will be provided, but you must be able to work independently, willing to work flexibly and be motivated to meet individual/team goals and the changing needs of the organisation.
You will be based at our friendly Stockport head office within our small and supportive national tendering team. There will be scope for partial home working.
