Internal Sales Executive
Our client, a rapidly growing software solutions provider, currently requires a self-managed and hard-working Internal Sales Executive to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the rapid growth of this business with opportunities to move upwards into a sales management or channel management role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the Sales Team, your main duties will include:
- Following up on marketing activities and responding to live leads
- Conducting webinars with clients, selling features and benefits of the software
- Prospecting via telephone to new business areas in line with sales strategy
- Conducting market research and generating leads / prospects
- Manage and contribute to individual and team KPIs and sales pipeline
- Management of a CRM marketing database
- Develop an emerging channel / reseller network
Person Specification
Suitable candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate 12 month+ experience in a B2B sales role, with the confidence to liaise with senior management contacts and proven results in a target-driven environment. In addition, you will require:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Business-like and professional approach
- First-class communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Resilience and determination to succeed
- Proactive and driven self-starter
Although marketing support is excellent (the last email marketing campaign generated over 40 demo requests in a single postcode area!), they are looking for someone who is comfortable approaching new clients and not just following up on warm leads. Starting salary is £23,000 basic with a realistic OTE of £30,000 (uncapped) – this will rise in year 2.
