IT SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
Purpose of role
To successfully develop & manage new and existing client relationships and increase sales volume
Develop dormant client relationships and increase sales volume
To confidently approach as well as build rapport with prospects to identify their needs and advise the appropriate solutions over the phone
Achieve personal sales targets Meet KPI’s to monitor and develop personal performance
Essential skills and experience
History and knowledge of HPE, Dell infrastructure solutions
Ability to use a ‘follow the cable’ approach when solution selling
Proven solution sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
Confident negotiator and persuader with the ability to ‘close the deal’
Strong client management skills
Strong English language communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
Strong analytical & numeracy skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people
Capable of working independently
Ability to use CRM effectively
UK driving license
IT literacy – proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
A positive attitude to dealing with people as you will be part of a sales team
Knowledge of and experience of solutions sales in the following areas would be advantageous:
Microsoft Office 365
Online Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
IT Support Contact Sales
Knowledge of Networks & Server and Storage Infrastructure (HPE/Dell/Cisco)
Key deliverables
Specific targets, KPIs and budgets will be drafted and agreed as part of the Sales Account Plan that the successful candidate will be responsible for co-producing.
We will supply ongoing new leads through large customer database and ongoing leads through events and online generation
What we offer
Competitive Basic Salary (depending on experience)
Fantastic commission structure (Uncapped)
Working Hours: Mon – Fri / 08:30 – 17:30 (except Bank Holidays)
Holiday: 20 days per year (Jan – Dec)
Private Health Care (after 6 months of permanent employment)
Pension Contribution (after 6 months of permanent employment)
