Our client, a global technology provider, requires an additional person to join their growing team. The key areas needed are experience with Linux based support and / or sys admin and for someone who is very keen to learn. A natural career path into Application Support and DevOps exists for the right person.
The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years Linux based support covering: –
- Sys admin
- App deployment
- Scripting
- Automation
You will be monitoring business critical systems (all Linux based), troubleshooting issues, improving efficiency by automating daily task, etc. Ability to pick up new skills is key to this role. You will be able to develop a full range of App Support and DevOps skills using the latest toolsets and you will have a development plan put in place to continue to challenge your technical knowledge and learn new skills. There will be a structure career path as you learn, giving you the opportunity to move up in the business in seniority and pay.
