An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer within the Business Support Service Improvement Hub to work on improvement projects across the Service.
The post is based at Stopford House in Stockport. It is a permanent contract working 18.5 hours per week, with the work pattern to be agreed.
Ideal Candidate:
This is a diverse role in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will have a background in process re-design and organisational change, be able to work on your own initiative and be a hardworking, flexible individual with strong organisational skills. You will be competent at analysing data sets and other performance information and be able to present findings and proposals to a variety of audiences. The role involves providing support as requested for existing improvement projects and pro-actively reviewing business processes with a view to identifying and implementing efficiencies and other improvements. A background in Office 365 is desirable, although training can be provided.
Key activities include:
• Leading internal meetings and workshops and follow-up feedback sessions
• Liaising with external parties
• Using Microsoft Office suite to capture and present workflows and processes
• Data analysis
• Desk-top research
• Supporting colleagues in new ways of working, including Microsoft Office 365
