Playtimekids Before and After School and Holiday Club at Arden Primary School have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Playworker who enjoys working with children aged between 4-12 years. No qualifications needed but experience would be good.
And a Deputy Manager needs to be qualified at Min Level 2.
Typical duties include:
providing safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities, preparing activities, assisting in organising the holiday club programme, contributing to the planning of activities
providing full care for the children
taking part in the day to day administration, record keeping, ordering and purchasing of material and equipment
The successful person will have the ability to:
provide safe, creative play
communicate at all levels
meet children's individual needs
use judgment and common sense
work as part of a team.
The club is committed to safeguarding children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
24-25hrs a week
7:30-9:15 and 15:00-18:00 Monday to Friday term time, do have a holiday club hrs for this on a rota.
Pay is £8.21Hr
