CSS Senior Officer – Strategy and Design
Salary £19,554- £21,166
CONTRACT TYPE Fixed Term 12 months
CONTRACT HOURS Full Time, 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work collaboratively across Stockport Council and Sector3 to support the development of Stockport’s voluntary and community sector.
About the role:
The postholder will be based within the Strategy and Design service of the council but you will be working at least 2 days per week directly to support Sector3. You will be responsible for supporting projects, organising events such as community engagement events, workshops and board meetings. You will be the first point of contact for the team and responsible for administering our grant giving processes.

The Strategy and Design Service, are at the heart of the council’s change programme working closely with local communities to deliver shared priorities. As a service we support the identification and delivery of innovative and collaborative new ways of working.
Sector3 is Stockport’s Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Infrastructure Support agency working to support the VCSE sector to develop and thrive.

About you:
You’ll be highly organised and equally confident with detailed project documentation as detailing with people. We’re looking for:
• Excellent administration skills, someone used to working on multiple projects simultaneously
• A people person, confident dealing with a range of different organisations
• Someone who is interested in developing systems and processes to support new projects
• Confidence using digital systems
• Experience of administering funding and arranging payments would be an advantage but is not essential
But most importantly we’re looking for a can do attitude!
