As a Recovery Assistant with us, you will provide effective support to the Customer Finance Team and assist them to maximise rental and service charge income.We have three opportunities available currently, two permanent and a third 18-month contract role.
Dealing with all inbound customer enquiries relating to rent and other accounts and also taking ownership of outbound contact for maximising collection of wider income streams, you will provide exceptional customer service, dealing with all basic enquiries and identifying those that are more complex and require specialist intervention.
Providing customers with information about payments required in order to maintain their account and/or any arrears arrangements, you will take payments over the telephone and set up new direct debit / amend existing direct debit arrangements; identifying customers who have defaulted on payments and/or arrears arrangements and liaising with Recovery Officers in relation to next steps.
With experience of working in a Customer Service role (preferably telephone based) and excellent Customer Service skills, candidates should have good digital skills and the ability to use a wide range of IT systems and software and across various systems at any one time.You must be capable of ensuring customer understanding of complex information through effective communication and thrive in a fast paced environment; taking detailed information and making decisions quickly, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy.
