Our client is a specialist provider of complex software solutions into the banking sector. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a senior sales exec who has knowledge of the banking and financial services sector. This will be a blended role which involves home working, time in the office and work on client sites (when we can). The role shall involve: –
- Opening new doors within prospect financial services clients
- Working closely with dedicated marketing support and product teams to send the right message to the market
- Prospecting – with the assistance of a dedicated BDR but the expectations is that this person can also bring their own opportunities
- Working with your professional services and presales team to successfully manage the sales process to conclusion
- Pipeline management, forecasting, etc
The expectation is that you will be used to selling 6 figure SaaS deals into the financial services sector with a focus on tier 1-3 banking and similar clients. You will be comfortable with a £1m target (with a sensible scale up to that figure in year 1) and working on sales cycles which are generally 4-6 months.
Complexity of your solution is key; we need someone who has sold complex solutions; multiple stakeholders / departmental focus, emphasis on workflow, etc. Although you have full professional services support, we need people who can conceptualise a complex SaaS solution and understand individual/departmental pain points so that you can tailor your message to the correct people.
