This role will function as part of the Engineering team with overall responsibility to provide direction, support and ownership for the Engineering administrative tasks.
The role will support the Business and Operations Managers ensuring our SLA’s are achieved in line with performance budgets and the department’s deliverables, meeting customer quality expectations and taking corrective action when required.
The role of the Senior Technical and Street Works Co-ordinator will manage the central function and will take responsibility for the smooth running of administration involved with the departmental resources levels, ensuring balance with the work allocation and project planning. They will make practical and pragmatic arrangements by ascertaining the scope to determine the alignment of resource and skill requirements. This includes but not exclusive to, maintaining office services and efficiency, supervision and maintaining records with a key function of leading on the production/monitoring and improvements to permits on GMRAPS.
Based in Stockport at our operational hub, the post holder will work alongside a team of managers, supervisors and admin support. They will be responsible for maintaining systems, keeping records, assisting with the production of documentation such as estimates, tenders, risk assessments, site files and dealing with all general correspondence. Advantageous if worked within Engineering, construction or a similar industry previously.
