Administrator 37.5 hours per week
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Admin & Clerical team based in central Stockport. As the team lead, you will be the designated person responsible for staff management and development. You will be expected to undertake duties delegated by management using your own initiative and working without direct supervision.
The post holder will be familiar with a full range of clerical/administration tasks and be able to undertake specific administration duties when necessary. The team offer integral support to the clinicians, acting as a main point of contact for incoming calls from patients/clinicians and other healthcare settings. The post holder will be expected to use, and supervise the use of, the patient information system on a daily basis.
You will be responsible for the compiling of staff working schedules, as well as inputting information onto the payroll system. As the lead, you will be expected to support the team with a range of difficult and challenging situations.
Applicants should be excellent communicators and must have the ability to deal efficiently with the general public, NHS colleagues and other care providers on a daily basis. In addition it is a necessity that applicants have a high standard of IT skills, have a positive approach to customer care and be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Line management experience is essential and a degree of flexibility will be required.
The hours of work are to be undertaken over 7 days, between the hours of 8:00 – 20:00

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
