Totally Local Company delivers a diverse range of front line services for private and public businesses across the Borough. We currently have a vacancy for a committed and experienced skilled operative to join our maintenance crews within the Street Lighting Group.

You should be experienced in all aspects of road maintenance inclusive of streetlights, signs, bollards, speed cameras plus all street furniture in and outside the borough and the use of mechanical and pneumatic equipment, along with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and organise your own workload. Relevant plant certification and street works accreditation will be essential where appropriate

Good customer care and communication skills are also essential as the role involves working alongside the general & travelling public and the ability to be and work in a very flexible environment.

The position will also involve the requirement to undertake overtime and standby duties as and when appropriate.
