Umbrella Payroll Software Sales /Business Development
The Role
This is a very exciting role in an award-winning SaaS business that has doubled revenue year on year for last 3 years. The initial sales effort has been focused on accountants who specialize in the temporary labour market and we have now developed a “pay and charge” module focused on Recruitment Agencies.
The individual will report directly to the Sales Director and the role will include:
•Researching and understanding the market with the aim of securing ‘qualified leads’ with clients with 500+ contract workers
•Delivering remote and face to face software demos to potential clients
•Preparing presentations and researching clients
•Understanding and Communicating new tax legislation to prospective clients (e.g. IR35)
•Overseeing the development of marketing strategies
•Ensuring the pipeline of New Business enquiries is maintained
This role requires excellent communication, planning and organisational skills and the job holder must be constantly monitoring and re-evaluating priorities as our market develops.
Principal Responsibilities will be:
•Creating and maintaining relationships with recruitment agencies and contractor accountants and umbrella companies
•Monitoring, cultivating and converting new business opportunities into sales
•Help to shape the company’s growth strategy
You will:
•Be intelligent with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
•have experience of working in a Payroll umbrella, Recruitment Agency or similar fast moving environment
•Be fiercely ambitious and keen to develop
•Be gregarious, engaging and keen to learn
•Be target driven, able to work very well (and enjoy working) under pressure
•Have a track record of managing and handling complex queries on a large scale
•Be very confident and highly self-motivated
•Be able to work independently
•Be capable of operating convincingly at a senior level
