The Children and Young Peoples Diabetes team are looking for a dynamic, friendly, organised Administration Assistant to complement the current team. Working alongside the current post holder, you will be required to ensure the provision of a comprehensive secretarial service to the Children and Young Peoples Diabetes M.D.T. (multi-disciplinary team), under the leadership of the PDSN Team lead. This support will include triage of telephone enquiries, data entry for annual and national audits, audio typing of letters and completing supplies ordering.
Support is also required in the diabetes clinic, downloading information from patient devices.
The Children and Young Peoples Diabetes team is an extremely busy team and the work is varied and interesting.
Please note a computer based test will form part of the interview.

If successful, this vacancy will require an standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary. In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
